About Us

St. Simons Fishing Center is a premier fishing charter business based in St. Simons Island, GA, that offers a wide range of fishing experiences for anglers of all levels. Our expert captains specialize in trout fishing, red drum fishing, shark fishing, tarpon fishing, and more. We charted in July of '25 on our first trip to SSI. Lisa was so sweet on the phone and with booking. We joined John Palmer for a 3 hour fishing trip. We had my 85 year old mother, and two sons. We all learned so much, caught a great amount of fish, and laughed tons. We caught various types shark, whiting, 2 sting rays, and some bait fish. We got to keep 3 of our catch and John filleted and cleaned it for us. He recommended we take it to Catch 228 for dinner; which we did and it was fantastic!! We had such a blast. A highlight of our vacation for sure! Thank you for your hospitality and patience, John!
